The beginning…

I started working on social media accounts when I was 16 years old. So that would make Facebook 10 years old and Instagram only 4 years old. I had been taking dance classes at my childhood dance studio in Fort Worth, Texas, and recently became a teaching assistant during this time. I worked really closely with my Studio Director and she explained one day how social media was the best way to advertise for almost all businesses. She continued saying she simply didn’t have the time to sit down, learn about each platform, decide which accounts to be on, set up the account, remember to get content, post regularly and said that just thinking about it gave her a headache.

I immediately jumped up and volunteered. She allowed me to run all of the social media accounts for the dance studio and I felt like I was in my element.

College

I then graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington where I received my Marketing and Management degree. During my time in college I continued to invest in my knowledge and skill of Social Media Management and Content Creation by taking various courses from experts.

Soon after graduating in December of 2020 I opened my own Social Media Marketing Agency, 77 Socials. I have since then worked with a variety of businesses and business owners ranging in size from small to large, as well as business types from B2B and B2C.

I am very passionate about all of the aspects of my job and I am so proud to say that I love what I do and it doesn’t ever really feel like a job.
